GOT7 will be releasing their 4th full-length album “Breath of Love: Last Piece” on November 30th.

This brand new album is the first full-length studio album in two years – a big first since the release of “Present: YOU” in September, 2018. To exceed fan expectations, GOT7 poured in their heart and hard work to complete the long-awaited 4th album with excellence.

For the first time since their debut, the members will showcase double title tracks and double the excitement. It’s important to note that both title tracks “Breath” and “LAST PIECE” were written and composed by GOT7 members.

The first title track “Breath” is largely about encountering the love of one’s life, expressing that moment where life offers a brush with fate. The overwhelming emotions of falling hard in love is conveyed through a clever whistle tune and a variety of feel-good sounds.

Composed and its lyrics written by Youngjae and it is also a joint venture with former GOT7 collaborators, Pollen, Lavin, and NiiHWA.

The second title track “LAST PIECE” was written and composed by GOT7 leader JB. It will be a truly romantic experience as the boys’ serenade, “you are the final piece to complete this masterpiece called ‘us.’” It’s a mature track about authentic emotions attributing one’s existence to the love of his life.

This song was created in collaboration with creative minds behind GOT7’s other tracks “You Are,” “Look,” “ECLIPSE,” “PRAY,” and “Page.” An explosive synergy with JOMALXNE and D.ham(220VOLT)!

The double title tracks are also interlinked within the two music videos. The parallels and connections will be evident in the videos. The usage of props, smooth transitions, and GOT7 members detailed emotional delivery will add to the fun.

GOT7 took proactive part in the creative process leading to the shoot. Hours of brainstorming, contributing original ideas, and hours of practice in rehearsal. They were quick to learn a new choreography at the shoot and eager to go for re-shoots to ensure that the final product was nothing short of perfect.

GOT7’s new album “Breath of Love: Last Piece” will showcase a total of 10 new tracks including the double title tracks as well as “Born Ready,” “SPECIAL,” “WAVE,” “Waiting For You,” “Thank You, Sorry” “1+1,” “I Mean It,” and “We Are Young.”

Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, BamBam, and Yugyeom all took part in the songwriting and composing of tracks 3 to 7. You’ll witness the ever-growing emotional depth of these members in the brand new tracks.

That’s not all. This album was created with the help of BTS collaborator Jake Torrey, Noah Conrad, Danke, and many other talented songwriters.

From the music to creative contents, this new album with a signature GOT7 touch will surely excite global fans once more.

‘2020년 11월의 끝자락, 깊숙이 스며든 사랑의 숨결’



GOT7(갓세븐)이 11월 30일 정규 4집 'Breath of Love : Last Piece'(브레스 오브 러브 : 라스트 피스)를 발매한다.

새 음반은 2018년 9월 'Present : YOU'(프레젠트 : 유) 이후 약 2년 만에 발표하는 정규 앨범이다. GOT7은 글로벌 팬들이 손꼽아 기다렸던 정규 4집을 더욱 완벽하게 만들기 위해 아낌없는 정성과 노력을 쏟아부었다.

이들은 데뷔 이래 최초로 더블 타이틀곡을 선정해 팬들에게 두 배의 기쁨을 선사한다. 또 타이틀곡 'Breath (넌 날 숨 쉬게 해)'와 'LAST PIECE'(라스트 피스)는 두 곡 모두 멤버의 자작곡이란 점에서 더욱 큰 의미를 지닌다.

타이틀곡 'Breath (넌 날 숨 쉬게 해)'는 운명적인 상대를 만난 그 찰나부터 사랑의 숨결이 가득 스며든 순간의 감정을 그렸다. 사랑에 빠져 벅차오르는 마음을 휘파람 소리 등 다양한 사운드로 구현해, 기분 좋은 설렘에 흠뻑 취하게 한다.

영재가 작사, 작곡을 맡았고, GOT7과 여러 작품에서 합을 맞춘 주찬양과 라빈(Lavin), 니화가 의기투합해 완성도를 높였다.

또 다른 타이틀곡 'LAST PIECE'는 리더 JB가 작사, 작곡한 노래로, ‘너라는 마지막 조각이 있어야 우리가 완성된다’는 로맨틱한 메시지를 전한다. GOT7은 내 존재의 이유이자 전부인 상대방에 대한 진심을 노래해 더욱 성숙해진 매력을 전한다.

이 곡에는 GOT7 'You Are'(유 아), 'Look'(룩), 'ECLIPSE'(이클립스), 'PRAY'(프레이), 'PAGE'(페이지) 등을 함께 작업해 막강한 시너지를 뽐낸 작가진 조말론(JOMALXNE)과 디함(D.ham(220VOLT)) 등이 참여했다.

더블 타이틀곡의 뮤직비디오는 두 편이 마치 하나로 이어지는 듯한 연결성을 꾀했다. 다양한 소품 활용과 매끄러운 화면 전환 효과, 일곱 멤버의 섬세한 표현력은 영상을 감상하는 재미를 더한다.

GOT7은 곡의 분위기를 십분 살리기 위해 사전에 많은 아이디어를 내고 끝없는 상의와 리허설을 거치는 등 심혈을 기울였다. 촬영 중간 갑작스럽게 추가된 안무 장면을 완벽 소화해내는 것은 물론 완성도 높은 결과물을 위해 재촬영도 마다하지 않는 등 프로다운 면모를 뽐냈다.

새 앨범 'Breath of Love : Last Piece'는 더블 타이틀곡을 포함해 'Born Ready'(본 레디), 'SPECIAL'(스페셜), 'WAVE'(웨이브), 'Waiting For You'(웨이팅 포 유), '이젠 내가 할게', '1+1', 'I Mean It'(아이 민 잇), 'We Are Young'(위 아 영)까지 총 10곡이 수록됐다.

마크, 잭슨, 진영, 뱀뱀, 유겸은 각각 3번부터 7번에 포진한 수록곡을 작사, 작곡해, 나날이 성장하는 음악성과 저마다의 짙은 감성을 녹여냈다.

이외에도 방탄소년단과 협업한 이력의 제이크 토레이(Jake Torrey)와 노아 콘래드(Noah Conrad), 단케(danke (라라라스튜디오)) 등 유수의 작가진이 참여했다.

음악부터 콘텐츠까지 GOT7의 손길이 앨범 곳곳에 닿은 신보는 전 세계 팬심을 다시 한번 뜨겁게 달굴 것으로 기대된다.
